Winemaker's tasting notes
An elegant, fruity wine with silky tannins and an earthy complexity: a rich palate showing flavours of dark cherry, Turkish delight, and red liquorice with hints of clove and spice.
Jancis Robinson MW tasting notes January 2009:
- Rating: 17 /20
- Drink 2010-15. Mid ruby, relatively complex nose, with lots of acidity, fine and silky and very refreshing; dry finish, tingly on the end; lots of minerals – schist?
