Charcoal Gully Pinot Noir Rosé 2012
Vintage
2012
The fruit (clone 5 Pinot Noir) was hand harvested on 2 April 2012 at 23.7 brix and was de-stemmed / crushed and held on cold in tank for 48 hours so the juice could pick up some more colour from the extra skin contact time. The fruit was then pressed and the juice was inoculated with selected wine yeast. The fermentation was stopped retaining around 4.5g/L residual sugar.

Winemaker's tasting notes
Vibrant pink: raspberry and strawberry aromas on the nose with candied apple and melon. Sweet red berry fruit flavours on the palate. This wine has a creamy texture, a rounded mid-palate and finishes with a nice, fresh acidity.
